This is a sample of what we are used for. This homeowner's agent entered the wrong information when he started the policy. By doing so, the roof converted to an Actual Cash Value policy which would not pay the depreciation. I was able to have that corrected and building code items approved which saved the homeowner $28,520.47!
The adjuster approved only a small amount for a roof repair initially. I was able to have the full roof replacement approved and to cover more than the given $86 to remove the tree from the home.
This is mostly roof costs. A tiny fraction is for repairing the interior. Once the incorrect estimate was provided to us, the carrier continually did nothing but unfairly handle the claim.
